For those of you who have been members with us since the beginning, you'll remember our original testing phase and the resulting soft launch (a phase we are still in, that has gone on for many more months than expected). Developing the PrizeClub community and network we've been faced with many unexpected roadblocks and challanges that have led to things being run a little more crazily than we had originally planned!

The new PrizeClub will be officially launched on September 1. Please check the website from this date to see what new offers we have in store for you!

Notice: There has recently been talk around the campfire that PrizeClub had lost it's major sponsor and thus wouldn't be paying anyone. This is absolutely NOT true! For starters, we don't have major sponsors, we run the club ourselves; and we will never have a problem paying our players their winnings. Frequent payment updates are available through newsletters, the client, and Support, and our players are always kept informed of their payment status. So, don't believe everything you hear!

PRIZECLUB MEMBERSHIP - IMPORTANT NEWS!

As you know, PrizeClub has offered the members of the free NPL, NPPL and THCA poker rooms cash prizes. To date we have paid out a whopping $35,000 in cash! All for FREE! We would like to thank all our loyal members who continue to play with us regularly.

Those of you who have written into Support may know me well, as I take care of the three poker rooms for you all; from the Support to the tournament management, to the marketing, to the website maintenance to the newsletters and everything else that may come my way. I would personally like to thank everyone for their patience in Support replies (since as much as I love you people, I can't work 24/7 in Support!) and in the organisation of payouts (ahh the joy of working in a computer-based industry where nothing is done via computers!!).

From September 1 you will see changes in the operation of PrizeClub. It will no longer simply be a club with the benefit of free cash prize poker. We have been working hard every day for the last 8 months, endlessly programming, planning, creating and executing a more exciting and rewarding Club. There will be changes to the tournament schedule, the cash prizes, the rewards system, the leaderboard and many other aspects of PrizeClub. These new elements of PrizeClub will be put into place over the next month, and you will see them happening bit by bit - as such, there will unfortunately be disruptions to your tournaments while these take place, but we promise PrizeClub will be bigger and better once we're done!

LEADERBOARD

The leaderboard is currently being rebuilt in preparation for the launch of the new PrizeClub.

Once the leaderboard gets back up and running, the script will almost instantly show all the points you have accumulated thus far and the current rankings by month - you will not need to worry about us taking time to manually add points, it's all pulled automatically from the admin.

Leaderboard rewards for backdated seasons will then be awarded.

BANK DEPOSIT OF WINNINGS

Bank Deposit is PrizeClub's preferred method of payment for your winnings.

From September 1, all players who have provided bank deposit details will have their winnings deposited on a 24 hour basis. You will be able to enter your details in to a secure section in your admin. Cheques will be paid monthly and will attract a $5 administration fee as per our existing Payment Policy. Bank deposits will never attract a fee for payment providing the details you supply are correct and the payment is not returned to us.

CASH AND PRIZE PAYOUTS

Payments Are Currently Being Made

The quarterly payment run is now being made and all outstanding winnings from May 01 to July 31 are now being paid.

Please note that there are over 300 individual payments to be made and the entire payment run takes approximately 2 weeks to complete. If you are receiving a cheque, it is important that you ensure your address is correct. This payment run I spent 2 entire days fixing up everyone's addresses by looking you all up on Google Maps. In future, failure to provide a correct postal address will result in non-payment of your winnings. You can see your address details in your Cashier section under My Details. If your address needs correcting, please contact support@prizeclub.com.au.

Players should also familiarise themselves with the PrizeClub Payment Policy, which is available on our website.

Outstanding Prize Packs

All players who won a prize pack during January/February will be receiving our new prize pack which will be awarded to you through email and the poker client. The new prize pack has a higher value than the old one and we will finally be able to get them out as they won’t take anywhere near as long to organise/pack/address/send!

We are expecting all prize packs to be finalised this month in preparation for the launch of the new PrizeClub.

NOTE: PLEASE FAMILIARISE YOURSELF WITH OUR PAYMENT SCHEDULE. FROM SEPTEMBER 1, BANK DEPOSITS WILL BE MADE EVERY 24 HOURS, AND CHEQUES WILL BE PAID AT THE END OF EACH MONTH.

Why Can't I Deposit Real Money?

Under Australian law, it is illegal for us to facilitate, and for you to participate in, any real money online poker. As such, we do not have any cashier facilities and you cannot deposit real money for the purpose of buying in to individual tournaments or playing real money ring games. The law applies to sites based domestically as well as offshore sites, however obviously it is difficult for the gaming commission to prosecute offshore sites! All the poker sites you enjoy through your PrizeClub membership are 100% legal and based in Australia, in compliance with all Australian laws.

As these laws have existed since 2001 and are unlikely to change, we currently have NO plans to offer real money online poker through our sponsors.
